About the Breeder

Hi there! I’m Taylor — a proud Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) by day and passionate dachshund lover around the clock! Caring for others has always been in my heart, whether it's patients in the dental chair or the sweet dachshunds in my home!

 

Originally from the beautiful mountains of North Carolina, I moved to the Piedmont area with my husband, Tyler, in 2015. We now share our lives with our two amazing daughters, a flock of chickens, and, of course, our beloved dogs!

 

I grew up surrounded by dogs — dachshunds, bloodhounds, basset hounds, beagles, rat terriers, and lovable mixed breeds — and spent time in and around the world of breeding and showing dogs in AKC conformation events. From an early age, I was hooked on the love, hard work and dedication that is breeding and maintaining the history and health of purebred dogs!

 

Little Nest Dachshunds is the realization of a lifelong dream. This isn't just a side project — it’s my heart and soul. I’m deeply committed to honoring the rich history behind purebred dogs and preserving everything that makes dachshunds so special. Every puppy I raise is thoughtfully bred, lovingly cared for, and prepared to be a wonderful lifelong companion for their future family.
